Below is a listing of the communities to which I belong. They are all open to anyone's joining.

Coyotewisdom discussion group.

This group is the main connecting vehicle for the Coyote Institute and its members. It's the discussion group to which I contribute most often.  It's open to members and non-members.

Coyotemedicine discussion group.

This group was originally created for open discussion with me, but it's currently redundant since we decided that anyone could join coyotewisdom.  So for now, I suggest not joining this group and joining coyotewisdom instead. At some time, when coyotewisdom gets too big, we'll reactivate this group.

Aboriginalmind discussion group.

This group is for my class, aboriginal models of mind and mental health.  Students are required to post each week, though anyone can join.  During the times when I'm not teaching this class, the group remains an open forum for anyone wishing to discuss aboriginal (indigenous) models of mind and mental health.

Traditional cultural healing discussion group.

This group is for my class on traditional cultural healing. Students are required to post each week, though anyone can join.  During the times when I'm not teaching this class, the group remains an open forum for anyone wishing to discuss traditional cultural healing.

Integrative clinical research discussion group.

This is an evolving group for the Coyote Institute to plan and implement grass roots narrative and clinical research.  I am also using it as a discussion forum for my research methods classes.

Integrative psychiatry discussion group.

This group contains an evolving textbook on integrative psychiatry and an open forum for discussing psychiatry that includes more than just pharmaceuticals. We're really open to any methods and also are soliciting chapters on topics that anyone wants to write. Eventually, when the book is done, we may submit it to a publisher or we may just continue it online.

 Traditionalhealing discussion group.

This group is evolving to encompass Coyote Institute's program for "marrying technology and tradition." Our goal is to connect traditional healers through Second Life with each other around the world, with youth who may have been displaced from access to traditional healers and elders, and with people who are searching for traditional healers and/or elders.

Narrativeneuropsychology discussion group.

This group is a forum for my class on neuropsychology, and also serves to connect us with colleagues in narrative studies.

CenterforNarrativeStudies.

This group connects colleagues who are interested in narrative studies. It serves as a discussion forum for my classes related to narrative psychology and other narrative studies, and serves Coyote Institute's mission to further narrative studies.
